Psalm 40:4 Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols.
When our trust is in the Lord, we’ll experience numerous amounts of joy in our lives. Trusting in God means doing things His way. When we trust God or do things His way in our marriages, in parenting, with our finances, or anything else, we’ll have joy in our marriages, in parenting, or with our finances.
When we add our own ways of doing things, that’s when our joy turns into sorrow. When we do it our way, we may think we’re winning, but we’re headed for destruction (Prov. 14:12).
Experience infinite amounts of joy by trusting in the Lord and no one else, including yourself.
