Psalm 34:12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, 13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

A prosperous life or a turbulent life hinges on our speech. We can have faith, pray continuously, and read our Bibles often, but if our everyday speech is negative, we’ll cancel everything our faith is attempting to obtain.

We believe to be healed from a sickness, but as soon as someone asks how we’re doing we say, “It’s been rough. I feel weak. I don’t know when I’m going to get better.” That kind of speech contradicts what we believe. Our flesh wants to vent about things that are happening in the natural and receive sympathy, however, venting and sympathy never healed anyone.

During challenging times or in times of confusion or uncertainty, it’s best to confess the Word of God over the situation. The Word of God, coming from our mouths, has enough power to change any situation.
