We can’t tolerate curses in our lives because we are blessed. For those who are in Christ Jesus, we are blessed. The most common curses we see today are defeat, financial hardship, and poor health. According to Deuteronomy 28:15-68, these are considered curses.

Why are these curses tolerated? Because we don’t want to do the necessary things to remove these curses from our lives. The necessary things are not positive thinking, working harder, and healthy eating. It’s deeper than that. These are spiritual forces attacking our lives. The necessary things are resisting those forces with the Word of God. It’s confessing daily that we are blessed, healed, and prosperous. It’s feeding our souls by reading/hearing the Word of God. It’s being in tune with the Holy Spirit to determine what He wants us to do to experience manifestations of God’s Word. The negative experiences we see may not leave instantaneously, but if we remain consistent in the things of God and know who we are in Christ, the curses must leave our lives.

Believe and receive all that God says we are and expect the curse to leave our lives.

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
