Isaiah 26:8 NLT Lord, we show our trust in You by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify Your name.
Although we’re not under the law, the principle in this verse is still the same. Obedience to God shows our trust in Him.
When we forgive someone who has hurt us, we’re showing our trust in God’s plan to heal our hurts. When we give to the Kingdom of God, we show that we trust in God and not money. As we follow an illogical plan God specifically gave to us, we show our trust in God to make us successful.
Anything God instructs us to do in His written word (in context) or by His Spirit is an opportunity for us to display our trust in Him. Let’s trust the Lord and do good because our heart’s desire is to bring Him glory.
