Psalm 103:17 But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to the children’s children.
God’s love lasts forever. It’s not going anywhere. It doesn’t matter if we missed the mark 20 times a day, killed a man, or have been dishonest all our lives. God’s love is available to those who fear Him.
The fear that’s being referred to in this scripture is reverence. It doesn’t mean to be afraid of God. Some still feel we need to have a “healthy fear” of God. There’s no such thing. All afraid-fear is anti-God (2 Timothy 1:7). We don’t need to be afraid of our loving God.
Unlike His love, His salvation has remained for a long time, but it won’t last forever. God sent Jesus over 2000 years ago. He’s expecting us to make Jesus Lord to receive salvation. He’s not only desiring for us to make Jesus Lord, but for our children and grandchildren to do the same. This is a limited time offer. Jesus is returning soon. When He returns, salvation is off the table. Make Jesus Lord to receive salvation while there’s still time.
