Luke 17:3 NKJV Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

Jesus instructs us to forgive each other. It doesn’t matter what they’ve done or how many times they’ve done it. Whatever they’ve done, we must forgive.

Prior to forgiving them, we’re instructed to rebuke them. Rebuke means expressing a disapproval of their actions. In order for them to know how they’ve wronged us, we have to tell them. So don’t be prideful and act like their actions didn’t hurt or offend you. Be honest with them and let them know.

This is just a reminder to forgive. Forgiveness benefits us, it benefits our relationships, and most importantly, forgiveness represents God’s heart.
Forgive.
