Exodus 3:9 “Now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 “Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.”
From abusive relationships, to gender and racial discrimination, to belittling bosses, people are being oppressed all across this world. The systems of the world don’t have the answers for this and they’re guessing on solutions hoping they’ll work.
We, the believers, are called and have been given the authority to loose oppression wherever we see it. We’ve been given the authority to bind strongholds, speak good things into existence, and destroy the power of evil (2 Cor. 10:4; Mark 11:23; Luke 10:19).
So, the next time we hear a news story about someone being abused, someone being racially discriminated against, or hear a person tell us how a boss is treating them, use the power of God within us to set them free.
