Psalms 71:7‭-‬8 NLT My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.

When we personally know what God has done and we’ve seen Him perform the miraculous on more than one occasion, praise will continuously flow from our lips. It’s as if we’ve reached the point of no return and we can’t help it. It’s not luck, good fortune, or anything else. We know with everything in us, it was God.

New trials will come and they have a tendency to make us forget about what God has done. They seem so big until they overshadow God’s marvelous works. That’s why it’s important to stay in the word of God and keep a close connection with Him. Staying close to God and His word helps us remember all He has done for us in times past. It will help us recall how He’s handled “big” things in the past which will encourage us to place our faith in Him now.

So, praise Him for His past performances, praise Him for being a present help, and praise Him for the plans He has for our future. Don’t stop praising the Lord.
