John 9:6-9 NKJV When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.”
Some of us don’t want to share what God has done in our lives because we don’t want to seem boastful or make others feel bad because they’re not experiencing a blessing. These things are based in fearing the opinions of others. And the only one behind fear is Satan.
If we hide our blessing, we limit God’s glory. By sharing what God has done, others may give God glory on our behalf and they may be encouraged to put their faith in God for something themselves.
It’s not boasting when speak of the goodness of God. It’s giving Him the glory He deserves. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you from giving God praise.
