Esther 5:8 NKJV If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, then let the king and Haman come to the banquet which I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”
God doesn’t show partiality towards people (Acts 10:34). What He does for one, in principle, He’ll do for another. Esther received favor with the king to receive her petitions granted, and we can too.
We can get that time off that we’ve requested. We can receive that promotion we’ve requested. We can get an extension on that bill that’s due. We can have the dealership hold the car until we get our paperwork in order. All of this can be received based on the favor of God.
How can we be certain we’ll have favor in this area? Because God says in Proverbs 3:4 that we, the believers, have favor with God and mankind. God can change the hearts and minds of people to benefit us. So put your faith in the favor of God to get your petitions granted. It may not have happened to anyone else, but with the favor of God, it will happen for us.
