1 Corinthians 2:16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Every born-again believer has the mind of Christ. We may not be consistently operating in the mind of Christ, but it’s there. With that understanding, let’s look at the mindset of Jesus the Christ.

Jesus was compassionate, confident, content, and complete (Luke 7:13; Luke 4:1-13). He was a servant leader who made no reputation of Himself (Phil. 2:7). He loved everyone (John 15:9). He submitted Himself to God and His will (Luke 22:42).

It’s important to understand the mind of Christ and put these characteristics in our spirits by reading the Bible because these same characteristics reside in us. They simply have to be applied.

In every situation, we have a choice. We can respond Christ-like or respond in our flesh. Our response determines who’s in control (the Holy Spirit or our flesh), how we’re perceived by others, and the good or bad seeds we sow for ourselves (Rom. 8:13; John 13:35; Gal. 6:8).

Let’s study and apply the mind of Christ in every situation so that God is glorified, people are blessed, and we reap a harvest on the good seeds that we sow.
