When a task seems too big or when people miss the mark, people may say, “I’m only human.” I fact, there’s a song that repeats that statement over and over. The Bible doesn’t limit us to being only human. We’re much more than that.
When we get born again, we become children of God (1 John 3:1). We are the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5:21). We are kings and priests (Rev. 1:6). We are gods (Psalms 82:6). This is a short list of who God says we are.
When we get a full revelation of who we are in Christ, nothing can stop us, nothing can discourage us, nothing can stand against us, and we always win (2 Cor. 2:14).
A way to be fully convinced about who we are in Christ is daily confessions. Say, “I am a child of God, I am the righteousness of God, etc.” Our words have authoritative power in the earth. What we say will come to pass (Mark 11:23). As we continue to say these things about ourselves, our minds are renewed and we’ll truly believe these things.
We are NOT only human. Study God’s word and believe everything He says about you.
Revelation 1:5-6 NKJV and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
