Isaiah 51:22 NIV This is what your Sovereign Lord says, your God, who defends his people: “See, I have taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger; from that cup, the goblet of my wrath, you will never drink again.

As a believer, if you’re going through a difficult situation, don’t let anyone tell you that you’re experiencing God’s wrath for something. As we can see, God promised us that we’ll never experience His wrath again.

Our difficulties can happen because we live in a fallen world and everything doesn’t function perfectly. Don’t let these difficulties trip you up.  If we keep our faith in God’s word, we’ll overcome any situation (John 16:33).

Difficulties can also happen because of natural consequences. If we make the wrong decisions, there will be consequences. However, if we repent and focus on doing things God’s way, we’ll experience good outcomes and a positive perspective during our consequences.

Just know any difficulties we face is not the wrath of God. The wrath of God was placed on Jesus alone. God has no more wrath to give to those who have placed their faith in Him (Rom. 5:9).
