John 13:2 NKJV And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,

So many people beat themselves up because they’re reading their bibles, praying, and regularly attending church, but they still have these thoughts contrary to God’s word. Some of these thoughts are so evil, twisted, or perverted until we don’t want to tell anyone.

Here’s good news. These are not our thoughts. These thoughts are thrown into our minds by Satan. If Satan can put the thought to betray Jesus in the heart of Judas, he can put thoughts of something evil in our minds too.

These thoughts are not a reflection of us and who we are in Christ. It doesn’t mean we’re unholy or have a demon inside of us. These thoughts come from the outside in. The only time these thoughts become an issue is if we dwell or act on these demonic thoughts.

To ensure we don’t dwell or act on these thoughts, we must cancel these thoughts with our words. When a thought comes say something like, “I cancel that thought in the name of Jesus.” The thought may come again, so we say something again. Eventually, the thoughts will pass.

Just know that these thoughts don’t reflect you. Praise God we can combat evil thoughts with the word of God.
